By using your own standard agreements and forms, and attaching them to your IT RFP, you can realize two huge benefits.  First, you can obtain buyer-favorable terms and conditions with a vendor in advance of awarding your project to that vendor.  It's far more difficult to win favorable terms and conditions with a vendor after you have awarded your project to the vendor.  And second, you can substantially reduce vendor negotiation cycle times, saving you precious time and money.
